For the past 20 years, my life has been a deep exploration of the connection between skin, scent, and well-being. Through various experiential and professional journeys, I have come to understand how profoundly certain smells can evoke emotions and how self-care rituals can transform our inner state.

Over two years ago, I faced a period of intense burnout and health challenges. My eyes became sensitive to artificial light, inflammation gripped my entire body due to the stress that had accumulated in my life and my skin was behaving in new ways, unknown to me. Not to mention the Moods that accompanied all of these changes. With the curiosity of a child, I went deeper into my exploration and understanding of Ayurveda, yoga's sister's science.

In those difficult times, I found balance in the soft glow of candles, the soothing aromas of essential oils and the ancient practice of Abhyanga—anointing myself with massage oils in a ritual of self-love and care. This practice became my anchor, a way to empower myself by nurturing my body and fully showing up for myself and others. Creating personalised massage oils with essential oils to align with 'meeting the Moods and my life seasons' became a deeply nurturing practice.

We often hear the saying, "Self-care is not selfish." Yet, stress has a sneaky way of creeping into our lives, affecting our mind, physical body and the way we 'show up' into the world. When we don’t acknowledge it with compassion, it can severely impact our body, mind, and spirit. 

My own journey led me to a commitment: to create and share a small, essential range that I lovingly call the 'YOURZEN Heroes' a Self-Love Boosting Kit. This collection is designed to support you through life's challenges, helping you navigate with grace and ease. Because the truth is, we cannot truly love others until we learn to love ourselves.
